Surveys

At many stages of a building’s life it is prudent to establish the present condition of its lift installations. Many building owners will rely on their Insurance Inspector and/or their Maintenance Contractor for advice.

Regrettably, such advice is often incomplete, inaccurate or misleading, to some extent this is understandable, there have been a number of significant changes to legislation affecting lifts in recent years which, in many cases, has been misinterpreted by those in the Industry.

The Robin Primrose Partnership undertakes surveys and provides impartial outline or comprehensive reports appropriate to your particular requirements

Depending on the nature of the building and the type of information required a condition report would cover the Particulars of the Lift Installation, the Environment and Lift Equipment in the Plant Room and Lift Well, the Lift Car, the Landings and Entrances, the Lift Performance together with Executive Summary, Recommendations and Photographic Appendices.

Typically, such reports will be valuable prior to either acquiring an existing building or committing to significant investment in replacing or modernising installations in your own building.
